Free June Webinar, Plus a New Course for You

Hello Reader!

This month, I'm thrilled to showcase a new product for you and offering a repeat of an extremely popular webinar just for you!

Webinar: Unlock Pennsylvania Records with the FamilySearch Catalog

Last Month's Webinar was so popular, let's do it again!

– Friday June 6th, 3pm eastern —

87 people attended last month and loved it! I’ll show you what's new and improved with the FamilySearch Catalog, and how to use it to uncover hidden records that aren’t searchable online.

In just 30 minutes, you'll learn how to:

  • Navigate the new FamilySearch Catalog layout easily
  • Search by location to find collections buried in a regular search
  • Identify record types you may have missed (land, tax, church, and more)
  • See when AI Full-Text Search is being used (and what to do if its not)

Break through your Pennsylvania brick walls with FamilySearch!

If 30 minutes of the webinar is not enough for you and you're still feeling frustrated with your Pennsylvania genealogy, I've got the perfect solution.

My new course, FamilySearch FastTrack, will take you step-by-step to master FamilySearch and uncover the exact records you need—quickly and confidently.

Packed with videos, checklists, and easy-to-follow strategies, this online course is your key to overcoming research obstacles and finding your Pennsylvania ancestors faster than ever before. Plus its yours to keep forever - no expiration dates.

Ready to get unstuck and find new records?

Learn about Coal Miners this summer

The instructors for GRIP asked me to pass along this message:

Are you a Pennsylvania coal miner's daughter (or great-great-granddaughter)? Consider enrolling in "Mining and Extraction: Building Skills with the Coal Industry" at the Genealogical Institute of Pittsburgh from 13-18 July 2025 at the University of Pittsburgh. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the coal industry and the skills to research their coal miner ancestors' lives comprehensively. Learn more about the course on the NGS GRIP website.

Hope your summer plans include lots of Pennsylvania research!
